Overview of ANM Nursing Course:

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) is a diploma-level healthcare program that focuses on providing basic nursing and midwifery skills, primarily related to maternal and child healthcare. It prepares students to work as healthcare professionals, offering primary care services in hospitals, clinics, and rural health centers.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification:

  • Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • 10+2 (Science/Arts/Commerce) with a minimum of 40-50% aggregate marks (varies by institute)
  • Some institutes prefer candidates from a science background, but students from all streams are eligible.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 17 years
  • Maximum: 35 years

Medical Fitness:

  • Candidates should be physically fit.

Admission Process:

  • Entrance Exam: Some institutes conduct entrance tests.
  • Direct Admission: Based on 10+2 marks in many institutes.
ANM Nursing Course Details:

  • Government Colleges: ₹10,000 – ₹50,000 per annum
